Program Eligibility

All participants in the program must meet the following requirements:

Participants must be 18 years old or older
Participants must be residents of the Cities of Detroit, Hamtramck and Highland Park; or have a demonstrable connection or commitment in one or more of these communities; Connection is demonstrated by things such as:
Business owned and operated in one of the designated communities
Employed by a company or organization that is located in one of the designated communities and which has a social mission in alignment with Enterprising Health program focus
Active membership or role in organizations in one of the designated communities
Place of worship is in one of the designated communities
Immediate and extended family members residing in one of the designated communities (i.e. parents, siblings, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, god parents)
Participants register as individuals, or as teams, groups or organizations
Minimum team size is three members. Suggested maximum team size is six to eight members.
Composition of teams or groups may consist of friends, neighbors, family members, business colleagues, co-workers, etc.
Organizations may be for-profit, non-profit or for-benefit
